लन्डन । नेपालीहरुको राजधानी र बाक्लो बस्ती रहेको अल्डरसट क्षेत्रको काउन्सिलर पदमा नेपाली मुलका एक उम्मेदवार विजयी भएका छन् । विहीवार भएको स्थानिय निर्वाचनमा म्याग्दीमा जन्मिएका प्रबेश केसी वलिङटन वार्डबाट ३२८ मत प्राप्त गरी काउन्सिलरमा विजयी भएका हुन् ।
युवा व्यवसायी तथा समाजसेवी केसीले बेलायतको स्थानीय निर्वाचनमा काउन्सिलर पदका उम्मेदवार भएका थिए। उनले आफ्ना प्रतिद्धन्द्धी भन्दा ४५ मत बढी प्राप्त गरे । पत्रकार बाचसपति रेग्मीका अनुसार सो वार्डमा ७ सय १० मत खसेको थियो ।
निर्वाचित भए पछि केसीले नेपाली समुदायतको आवाजलाई समेत समेटेर वेलायती समुदायतसंग काम गर्ने प्रतिक्रिया दिए । केसीले चुनावी अभियानमा आफूलाई मत दिने र आफ्नो चुनावी अभियानमा सघाउने प्रति धन्यवाद दिए ।
सन् १९९६ मा बेलायत आएका केसी घरजग्गा लगायत अन्य व्यवसायमा आवद्ध छन् ।
